About this event
Nature-based program for children ages 3-6 to increase their love of the outdoors with a naturalist.
What to Expect
- 1.Youll join a naturalist led activity during a 60 minute session at the Lewis E Wint Nature Center with kid friendly explorations like leaf hunts and bug watching.
- 2.The crowd is usually a small group of families, so its easy to chat if you want but you can also stay on the sidelines.
- 3.Pack water and a light snack, and expect some time outside so wear weather appropriate clothing.
- 4.Parking is in the park lot and you check in at the nature center when you arrive, and the program runs from 10:30 to 11:30.
- 5.Dress in layers, wear closed toe shoes, and arrive a few minutes early to settle in with your child.
