What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a few minutes early to check in at Wixom Community Center. The sign in desk can get long around midday, so have your ID ready.
- 2.The donation happens in a seated setup and is guided by staff, so follow directions and you can relax while the process moves quickly.
- 3.The crowd is friendly but low pressure; you can chat if you want but most people are focused on the donation, not a party.
- 4.Parking is usually available around the community center and the building is easy to reach from Pontiac Trail.
- 5.Hydrate before and after your donation and have a small snack; the staff will point you to the refreshment area.
