Community blood drive hosted by the American Red Cross.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive about 15-20 minutes before your donation slot to check in and get settled, since the drive runs 12:00–18:00 at Wixom Community Center.
- 2.Bring a valid photo ID (and any donor ID you have) so staff can verify eligibility quickly.
- 3.Hydrate well and eat a light, balanced meal beforehand; avoid fatty foods the day before to help the screening process.
- 4.Wear sleeves that are easy to roll up and be prepared to wait a bit in the recovery area after your donation—staying seated for 10–15 minutes is normal.
- 5.Park in the Wixom Community Center lot and use the main entrance; if you’re new to blood drives, don’t hesitate to ask staff to explain each step of the process.
