What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early on Saturday to park and find your way around Detroit Golf Club; the course is large and walking from the lot to the first tee can take a bit.
- 2.Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat; you'll be outside for hours walking the course in August.
- 3.Study the course map or your preferred app and pick a couple of solid viewing spots; you'll likely need to move between holes to catch the action.
- 4.Concessions lines can be long during peak play, so consider off peak eating times or bringing light snacks; also pack a small bag to speed through security.
- 5.Keep noise down during shots and give players space; if you're new to PGA crowds, observe the etiquette and enjoy the view.
