The annual Skeletons Are Alive event features over 100 life-sized skeletons posed in various themes throughout the downtown area for the entire month of October.

• 1.Start at Northville Square and walk the downtown route to see the 100 life size skeletons in different themes; wear sturdy shoes and plan 60-90 minutes.
• 2.Weekends draw bigger crowds with families and locals, so if you want a quieter stroll go on weekdays.
• 3.Food and drink options cluster along West Main Street; consider grabbing coffee or a snack before you start and plan for lines near peak hours.
• 4.Since the display runs all October, bring a light jacket for evenings and check the forecast; parking around Northville Square can fill up during peak times.
• 5.Bring your phone to snap photos and, if you see QR codes, scan them for artist notes; stay aware of traffic and crosswalks as you move from display to display.
