What to Expect
- 1.Arrive around 9 to catch the freshest produce and easy parking around Downtown South Lyon. Bring a reusable bag and some cash if you can, because many stalls are cash only.
- 2.Chat with farmers to learn where items come from and when they're at peak. Vendors are usually friendly and happy to share farming tips or point you to the best deals.
- 3.Since it's outdoors, bring sunscreen, a hat, and water. Wear comfortable shoes because you'll be walking the rows and standing at times.
- 4.Parking can fill up and signage is not always obvious in a city hall lot, so plan your route ahead and allow a little extra time.
- 5.As a solo visitor you can go at your own pace, chat with vendors if you want, and still have a full market experience without feeling pressured.
