Join the future superstars of classical music for a free concert of classical favorites and new discoveries, presented in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to grab a seat; seating is first-come and the venue is small, so you’ll want to claim your spot before the program starts.
- 2.You’ll hear University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance students performing several short chamber works; listen for how the players listen to each other and shape phrases.
- 3.Dress smart casual—this is a respectful arts event, but you don’t need a tuxedo for a community center recital.
- 4.Check the lobby for program notes and any post-show Q&A; if you’re a first-timer to chamber music, use the notes to follow along with the pieces.
- 5.Parking can fill up around showtime, so allow extra time or carpool; if you need accessibility options, use the venue’s accessible entrances.
