Spring Survival Camp
Monday, March 30, 2026
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
About this event
Campers explore the outdoors through animal tracking, fire building, and building shelters.
What to Expect
- 1.You'll rotate through hands-on outdoor skill stations—tracking, fire-building, and shelter construction. Dress in weather-appropriate layers and sturdy shoes, and bring a water bottle and a small daypack for your gear.
- 2.The instructors are hands-on and safety-focused, so expect step-by-step guidance and plenty of chances to try things yourself.
- 3.Since it's outdoors on a community-center campus, come prepared for variable weather—sun, wind, and possible mud. Pack sunscreen, a hat, and an extra pair of socks.
- 4.The session runs 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, so plan a lunch or snack break; there may be short breaks between activities.
- 5.If you're new to survival skills, speak up early and start with beginner-friendly tasks; groups are small and supportive, so questions are welcomed.
