One of the oldest art fairs in Michigan, featuring over 100 visual artists along the St. Clair River.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to park near Palmer Park and hit your must-see booths before the crowd grows, and grab a map so you don’t miss standout artists along the riverfront.
- 2.Wear comfy shoes and bring sun protection; the boardwalk outdoors can be long and sunny, so plan for shade breaks and a water bottle.
- 3.Bring cash and a small tote—while many artists take cards, some stalls are cash-only and you’ll want room to pick up several pieces.
- 4.Stop to talk to artists about their process and materials; you’ll often catch quick demos or learn the story behind a piece, and some artists take commissions.
- 5.Take breaks along the river, check out nearby food options, and pace yourself so you don’t burn out before you’ve seen half the booths.
