STAND UP | FESTIVAL SHOWCASE | MOTOR CITY COMEDY FESTIVAL

About This Event

Get ready to laugh until you cry with the best comedians in town at the Motor City Comedy Festival!

What to Expect

• 1.You’ll get a rapid-fire slate of comics since this is a festival showcase—expect short sets and quick transitions between acts. If you’re curious about what’s coming up, arrive a bit early or check the lineup so you know who to watch for.
• 2.The Independent Comedy Club vibe is cozy and casual, so settle in close and enjoy the intimate feel without needing to be glued to a fixed seat for long stretches.
• 3.There’ll be drinks and snacks at the venue, so pace yourself between sets and use those breather moments to compare notes with friends or fellow attendees.
• 4.It’s a late-night event that can run toward midnight, so plan for a longer-than-usual evening and consider parking or rideshare options around 2320 Caniff Ave in Hamtramck.
• 5.If you’re new to festival-style stand-up, it’s okay to try different crowds and acts—the rotating lineup is a chance to discover new favorites and see a variety of styles in one night.
