What to Expect

• 1.Sunn O))) runs on long, enveloping drone textures; the Russell Industrial Center is a vast, concrete-and-steel space, so bring ear protection and brace for a wall of sound that fills the room from all angles.
• 2.Plan to stand or find a steady spot on the floor; the venue is mostly open and you’ll want to pick a sightline where you can feel the bass without getting overwhelmed.
• 3.Fans tend to be focused and hushed rather than chatty; give the performers your full attention and avoid talking through the crescendos.
• 4.Concessions can be limited in industrial venues, so eat beforehand and bring water; check ahead for on-site options and allowed outside beverage rules.
• 5.If you’re new to this scene, pace yourself—take breaks if you need to step out into a quieter corridor and let your ears reset after intense passages.
