What to Expect
- 1.This session is outdoors in a park setting at Oakland County Parks and Recreation in Waterford, so bring water, sunscreen, and a hat; wear flat, comfortable shoes and consider a mat or towel for grass.
- 2.Arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in and pick a spot; the class is beginner friendly and moves at a relaxed pace.
- 3.Youll be doing slow, flowing Tai Chi focused on balance and breath; instructors encourage mindful movements but not pressure if you need to rest.
- 4.Parking at the park can fill up on sunny weekends, so give yourself extra time and check where the activity area is; bathrooms may be nearby but not guaranteed.
- 5.If you have any health concerns or injuries, tell the instructor before starting; moves can be adapted to suit your range of motion.
