The Carpenters Songbook - A Live Celebration

About This Event

A live musical celebration of the iconic songs of The Carpenters.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll hear the Carpenters' hits performed live with polished vocal harmonies and piano-led arrangements. Expect familiar tunes like Close to You and We've Only Just Begun to anchor the night.
• 2.The room will feel nostalgic and comfortable even in a larger theater, and you might find yourself softly singing along with strangers.
• 3.There are concessions and a lobby bar at the Fisher Theatre, and intermission can be a good time to stretch and chat.
• 4.Plan for downtown Detroit parking and traffic; give yourself extra time to find your seat before the show.
• 5.If you're new to tribute shows, go with an open mind and enjoy the melodies even if you don't know every lyric.
