The Polar Express - Film

What to Expect

• 1.Get there a bit early to park downtown and walk to the Strand; the area around 12 North Saginaw Street can fill up, so give yourself 15-20 minutes extra.
• 2.If your tickets show seat numbers, you’ll want to arrive early to snag a good spot; if it’s general admission, line up a bit before doors to avoid last-minute scrambling.
• 3.The theater can run cool, so bring a light jacket or sweater; a comfy layer makes the film more pleasant in a big screening room.
• 4.Concessions are the usual fare—popcorn, candy, drinks—so plan a quick stop before the lights go down if you want to minimize interruptions during the show.
• 5.After the film, the walkable downtown area has restaurants and dessert spots to extend the evening; it’s easy to grab a bite or coffee nearby.
