Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and more that encourage development of early literacy skills in young children. This storytime is perfect for children who prefer a cozy atmosphere. Recommended for ages 2-5 and their families.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to park and check in at the front desk of the DPW, then find a comfy spot for your toddler.
- 2.This is a cozy, low-key session with stories, songs, and rhymes; expect a small group of families and a calm, kid friendly vibe.
- 3.Bring a small blanket or stuffed toy for comfort, and expect a mix of chairs and floor space depending on the room setup.
- 4.Parking can fill up around a municipal building, so plan for a bit of walking or street parking nearby.
- 5.If your child is new to storytime, tell staff you are new; they will help you navigate and you can step out briefly if needed.
