Tosca

About This Event

A gala evening honoring 55 years of Detroit Opera and 30 years at the Detroit Opera House, beginning with a performance of Tosca.

What to Expect

• 1.The evening starts with Tosca, so expect a full opera production rather than a short opening act. Arrive with enough time to find your seat before the performance begins.
• 2.This is a gala celebration, so the crowd may be dressier than at a typical night out. Check your ticket or event details for any specific dress guidance.
• 3.The Detroit Opera House is a formal performance venue with assigned seating. Give yourself extra time to get through downtown traffic and find parking nearby.
• 4.Opera performances can run long, and leaving mid-show is disruptive. Check the run time and any intermission details before you go.
• 5.Food and drink arrangements are not specified, so don't count on a gala meal unless your ticket includes one. Plan to eat beforehand or confirm what is included.
