About this event
A dogs-only swim event. Dogs must be 6 months old with a current license. Sessions divided by dog weight.
What to Expect
- 1.Check in when you arrive and bring your dog's license and proof of age. The event divides sessions by weight, so you may wait for your dog's swim slot as the staff sort dogs into sessions.
- 2.Expect a friendly dog loving crowd with lots of tail wags. People will be chatting about breeds, grooming, and tricks in the waiting areas.
- 3.Bring water and a collapsible bowl for your dog and plan for limited concessions; there will be a place to rinse dogs off afterwards.
- 4.Arrive early for parking and check in, and keep your dog on a leash until you reach the designated swim area. Bring towels for drying and a plan for exiting between sessions.
- 5.If this is your first dog swim, observe the first session from the sideline before stepping in and watch other owners for cues on leash rules and pool etiquette.
