The iconic ginger ale turns 160 with a massive bash featuring a chance to meet the Vernor's Gnome, a special brunch, inspired cocktails, and 'Boston Cooler' Cream Ale Beer.
What to Expect
- 1.Want the Vernor's Gnome meet-and-greet? Arrive early and head to the branded zone before the crowds swell—the 1:00–4:00 PM window can move fast.
- 2.The Boston Cooler Cream Ale and inspired cocktails are limited, so ask the bartenders early about releases and set expectations; most options will be 21+, so bring ID if you plan to drink.
- 3.Eastern Market is a mix of indoor halls and open stalls, so wear comfy shoes and bring a light jacket for temperature shifts between spaces.
- 4.Food and drinks come from lots of pop-up vendors—go hungry and plan to share plates with friends to sample more; bring cash as some stalls still run on cash.
- 5.Parking can be tight on Sundays, so consider rideshare or public transit and grab a map at the information booth to plan your route between the brunch area and the Gnome meet.
