Walk to End Alzheimer's
About this event
A community walk to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Registration begins at 10 a.m. followed by an opening ceremony.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive a bit before 10 am to park and check in before the registration rush at Horace Blackman Park.
- 2.After the opening ceremony you'll walk at your own pace; wear comfortable shoes and pace yourself.
- 3.You'll find volunteers and other walkers along the route; you can join a group or go solo.
- 4.This is outdoors so bring water and sunscreen and dress for the park weather.
- 5.If you want to donate or fundraise, set up a page ahead of time or bring a small contribution; every bit helps Alzheimer's care and research.
