Wheatland Music Festival

About This Event

The 53rd annual festival celebrating traditional arts, music, and dance on a 160-acre site.

What to Expect

• 1.The festival sprawls across 160 acres with multiple stages and dance tents, so map your route and pick anchor stages to avoid wandering.
• 2.The crowd is friendly and laid back, so you can strike up chats in lines or between sets without feeling forced.
• 3.Vendor food and drinks run the show, bring cash and a refillable bottle, and expect long lines around mealtimes.
• 4.On-site camping is common, bring a sturdy tent and warm layers for cool evenings, and be prepared for big walks between areas.
• 5.For first timers, arrive early for popular acts, check the schedule for traditional arts demos, and try a participatory activity like a square dance if you see one.
