Winter

About This Event

Outdoor and indoor family fun every weekend at Valade Park!

What to Expect

• 1.There’s a mix of outdoor and indoor family activities. Dress for cold weather and check if heated spaces are open.
• 2.The scene is family‑friendly and weekends are the main rhythm, so plan to arrive early to park and explore before it gets crowded.
• 3.Bring snacks and water, and wear comfortable shoes; there will be activities that require a bit of walking or moving around with kids.
• 4.Valade Park is at 2670 Atwater Street in Detroit, so use the parking lots nearby or public transit if possible and allow extra time in winter conditions.
• 5.Keep an eye on on‑site signs or ask volunteers for the day’s schedule— some activities may run in specific time windows.
