About This Event

Youth soccer program starting its spring session at Gunnar Mettala Park.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in and a quick warm-up. Bring a water bottle, shin guards, and cleats, and label all gear in case anything gets swapped between families.
• 2.Dress for the weather and keep it simple—layers for a spring evening and a dry top in case of a breeze. If you have a size-appropriate ball, bring it; otherwise follow the coach’s instructions for equipment.
• 3.Park in the park’s designated lots and allow extra time for after-work traffic. If you drop off your child, coordinate with the coach on where to meet at the field.
• 4.On the field, let the coaches run the drills and stay on the sidelines to cheer and support. Avoid coaching from the sideline so players stay focused and the session runs smoothly.
• 5.After practice, plan for prompt pickup and a quick cooldown chat with your child about what they learned. Check your folder or email for the next session time and any equipment reminders.
