The 10th annual Derby Day races featuring a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit Camp Casey.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early for bib pickup and parking at Sibley Square Park; with an 8:40 start, plan for 45–60 minutes before to get parked, pick up your bib, and warm up.
- 2.Pick your race distance ahead of time and pace accordingly; the event includes a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run, so know which line you’ll be in and don’t get stuck behind slower crowds.
- 3.Expect water stations and friendly volunteers along the course; bring a handheld bottle or small belt if you can, especially for the longer distances.
- 4.After you finish, stick around for Camp Casey activities and photos; bring friends and family to cheer and celebrate the cause.
- 5.Dress for Michigan spring weather in Wixom and wear comfortable shoes; bring layers and sunscreen, and use the park’s parking lots near 48900 Pontiac Trail.
