11th Annual VFW Post 4012 Auxiliary Golf Outing

About This Event

Annual charity golf outing hosted by the VFW Post 4012 Auxiliary.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early for check-in at the Downing Farms Golf Course clubhouse and you'll likely be assigned to a foursome for the day; wear comfortable shoes and be ready to walk or ride.
• 2.People here are friendly and supportive since this is a VFW Auxiliary charity outing, so you'll probably chat with fellow players and volunteers and maybe meet veterans you're helping.
• 3.There will be water and light snacks on the course and a post round reception or lunch; bring sunscreen and a hat since you'll be outdoors most of the day.
• 4.Plan for logistics like parking and starting times; if you don't have your own clubs, ask in advance about loaner sets, and check whether carts are included with your registration.
• 5.If you're new to golf, don't stress your score; focus on the experience, pace with your group, and take advantage of staff or players nearby to learn etiquette and basics.
