What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a little early to park and check in at West Bloomfield Middle School; the auditorium fills up for awards, so give yourself a buffer.
- 2.Dress smart casual since it’s a school ceremony and the room can be chilly—bring a light jacket and wear comfortable shoes.
- 3.Keep phones on silent and avoid taking flash photos during presentations so you don’t disrupt the honorees or other families.
- 4.You’ll be cheering for many students as multiple names are called; expect short speeches and transitions between honorees.
- 5.Check if there’s a post-ceremony reception in the lobby or nearby spaces; if not, plan a quick bite afterward on Orchard Lake Road.
