4th of July Fireworks

About This Event

Fireworks cap off a day of fun including the Firecracker Mile and Independence Day parade.

What to Expect

• 1.Get there early to snag a good viewing spot along the park lawn and to catch the Firecracker Mile and parade beforehand.
• 2.Bring a blanket or portable chair, and pack water or snacks—concession lines can get long once the fireworks approach.
• 3.Expect crowds and some traffic around Clawson City Park; consider carpooling or using alternate routes to minimize stress.
• 4.Dress for the weather and the late hour: a light jacket for the chill after dusk and comfortable shoes for walking around the park.
• 5.After the show, stick to designated exits and keep small kids close; bring ear protection for tiny ears and your patience for the post-fireworks crush.
