What to Expect

• 1.You’ll see a slate of advanced students performing back-to-back sets, with a mix of tight one-liners and longer storytelling as they graduate. The vibe at this intimate Royal Oak club means you’ll be in close proximity to the jokes and the performers’ energy.
• 2.Get there early to grab solid seating—Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle is a smaller, straightforward setup and doors usually open before the 7:30 pm show.
• 3.Two-item minimum per person is real, so plan to order at least two items per person. Budget a little extra for drinks or small bites and pace yourself so you can actually follow all the acts.
• 4.Reserve seats online if you can; online tickets are cheaper ($10) than door price ($17) and reservations are required for this special showcase.
• 5.Parking around downtown Royal Oak can be tight on show nights, so consider a rideshare or arrive a bit early to secure a spot, since the show wraps up around midnight.
