Autorama 2026

About This Event

The 73rd annual Detroit Autorama, America's Greatest Hot Rod Show, featuring custom cars, hot rods, and the prestigious Ridler Award competition.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan your route around the floor to catch the Ridler Award builds— the lineup is spread across multiple halls, and the biggest cars usually go quickly.
• 2.Pre buy tickets and map out parking; Huntington Place sits in downtown Detroit, so lines and parking can be rough—consider transit or nearby garages and leave extra time.
• 3.Wear comfy shoes and pace yourself; the show is big and you’ll be on your feet strolling past hundreds of cars.
• 4.Be mindful with photos; most cars allow pics, but don't touch anything and ask before getting close or using flash in sensitive displays.
• 5.Food options exist inside, but lines can be long; bring a snack or plan a quick bite outside the venue to stay fueled for the day.
