Beck

About This Event

Beck performs live at the historic Fox Theatre in Detroit.

What to Expect

• 1.Beck's live set will pull from his varied catalog, so you should expect a mix of hits and newer material. The Fox Theatre's ornate interior gives the night a classic show vibe and the seating levels offer solid views from the orchestra or balcony.
• 2.The crowd is generally friendly, and the energy is matched to the theater setting. If you want a better view, pick a seat with sightlines rather than pushing into the crowd.
• 3.Inside the venue there are concessions, so you can grab water or a snack before the show. If you prefer, you can wait for intermission to stretch and take a quick photo of the interior.
• 4.Parking around Woodward Avenue can fill up quickly and traffic on event night is busy. Give yourself extra time for parking or consider rideshare to avoid crowding.
• 5.If you are going solo, use the moment before the show to scan the room and chat with a neighbor if it feels natural. The environment at a historic venue like this is comfortable for first timers, so you can simply enjoy the performance.
