Béla Fleck - My Bluegrass Heart

About This Event

Béla Fleck brings his 'My Bluegrass Heart' tour to Royal Oak, featuring a masterclass in bluegrass music.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a bluegrass-focused performance with Béla Fleck at the center, and a chance to hear the musicianship up close. The description also mentions a masterclass, so check the event listing for details on whether that is part of the concert or a separate session.
• 2.This is a theater concert, so you can settle into your seat rather than plan to stand or mingle. If you prefer a particular view, arrive with enough time to find your section before the show starts.
• 3.For a first visit, check your ticket and the venue's current entry information before heading over. The theater is on West 4th Street in downtown Royal Oak, so allow a little extra time to sort out parking.
• 4.The focus is the music, not a food or drink experience. If you want a snack or drink, check venue policies and consider eating beforehand rather than assuming concessions will be available.
• 5.A masterclass can make the music especially rewarding if you play or follow bluegrass, but you do not need technical knowledge to enjoy the performance. Listen for the interplay between instruments and how the arrangements shift.
