Board of Zoning Appeals

About This Event

Regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals.

What to Expect

• 1.The room is quiet and formal, with cases presented for public input. You're there to listen, not perform, so sit toward the back if you're just observing and take notes.
• 2.Public comment periods exist; if you want to speak, check the agenda in advance and sign up with the clerk before the hearing starts.
• 3.Parking on West Main can be tight; plan to arrive early and use nearby lots or street parking before the meeting.
• 4.Bring the meeting packet or a printed agenda if you have it so you can follow along with the staff reports and any zoning codes referenced.
• 5.Dress business casual and keep phone usage to a minimum during the meeting; you can exit quietly if you need a break.
