Book Club Jr.

About This Event

Book club for grades 1-2 featuring the book 'In a Dark, Dark Room'. Includes discussion and themed activities.

What to Expect

• 1.The 45-minute session is built around reading and discussing In a Dark, Dark Room, followed by activities tied to the book.
• 2.It is aimed at grades 1-2, so expect kid-friendly discussion rather than a long or formal book report.
• 3.The story has a spooky feel, but the event is designed for young readers. If your child is sensitive to scary stories, check the book together beforehand.
• 4.Arrive a few minutes early to find the library meeting area and get settled before the group starts.
• 5.Check with the library about whether children should bring a copy of the book or whether it will be provided.
