Trail-or-Treat

About This Event

A community trick-or-treating event along the park trails featuring local businesses and organizations.

What to Expect

• 1.Bring a trick-or-treat bag and let kids wear costumes they can comfortably walk in, since the route follows park trails rather than a single indoor space.
• 2.Wear sturdy shoes and consider a flashlight or light-up accessory. The event starts at 6 p.m., so visibility may get low as the evening goes on.
• 3.Expect candy stops hosted by local businesses and organizations along the trail. The pace is likely to be stop-and-go, especially when families gather at popular tables.
• 4.Plan for outdoor weather and check conditions before heading out. A warm layer that fits over a costume can make the walk more comfortable.
• 5.Arrive with enough time to park and find the trail entrance, and keep young children close around the soccer fields and trail crossings.
