Books and Bricks

About This Event

A fun library event for kids combining reading and building with bricks.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll start with a short story read aloud and then move to a brick building station where kids recreate scenes from the book.
• 2.The crowd is family friendly and relatively quiet, with plenty of helpful adults around if you're feeling unsure.
• 3.Don't expect a big food setup at the event; plan snacks around the visit and keep drinks away from the books.
• 4.Parking can be tight after 4 pm, so arrive a bit early and use the library lot or nearby street spots.
• 5.If you are new to library events, hit the reading corner first to warm up and ask staff for a quick rundown of the brick activity.
