CHARLIE WILSON w/ EVELYN "CHAMPAGNE" KING & MARY JANE GIRLS

About This Event

Charlie Wilson performs live with special guests Evelyn "Champagne" King and Mary Jane Girls featuring Val Young.

What to Expect

• 1.You're getting a retro R&B night with Charlie Wilson sharing the stage with Evelyn Champagne King and the Mary Jane Girls, plus Val Young as a guest. Expect soaring vocals, tight harmonies, and a big show vibe.
• 2.The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre is outdoors on the riverfront in Detroit, so the crowd will feel energized but casual. Dress in layers and bring a light jacket for the breeze.
• 3.Concessions are your best bet for snacks and drinks, and lines can get long before and after the opener so plan time accordingly.
• 4.Parking and entry at this riverfront venue can take longer on a busy night, so consider arriving early or using rideshare and know your entry gate.
• 5.If you are new to this kind of show, pick a central seating area for the best sightlines and enjoy the nostalgia without worrying about being front row.
