Cheddar's Preschool Story Time

About This Event

A monthly program for preschoolers featuring stories, crafts, and activities centered around a historical theme.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll start with a short circle of stories and songs tied to the historical theme, then move to a simple craft your kid can do with minimal setup.
• 2.Expect a friendly, busy scene with families and preschoolers; a stroller-friendly setup and a few wandering toddlers are normal, so hold onto tiny hands.
• 3.There isn't a full cafe inside during story time, so bring a water bottle and a small snack if your child gets hungry between activities.
• 4.Parking at Troy Historic Village is usually easy; plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to park and check in at the front desk.
• 5.Dress for crafting and bring a light change of clothes or a smock just in case, and ask at check in about the theme so you can pick related books after the program.
