Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix

About This Event

Qualifying and support races for the Detroit Grand Prix on the downtown street circuit.

What to Expect

• 1.You’ll be watching qualifying and support races on a downtown street circuit, so pick your sightline early—the best spots go fast once gates open.
• 2.Expect a big, energetic crowd and a lot of walking between viewing areas; bring ear protection and a small bag for essentials because lines for merch and snacks can be long.
• 3.Food and drink options are vendor-heavy along the circuit—stay hydrated and know where water stations are; bring cash or a card for quick purchases and check if outside food is allowed.
• 4.Logistics matter here: arrive early, use rideshare or public transit to avoid parking chaos, and verify gate times and re-entry rules for your ticket.
• 5.As a first-timer, wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen and a hat; check in advance whether seating is available in your viewing area since street circuits are mostly standing-room.
