- 1.Arrive early to locate the chamber and read the posted agenda; you will see the council at the dais and staff presenting items.
- 2.The room tends to be formal and orderly with residents bringing up local issues; public comment is usually time limited, so keep your point concise.
- 3.There probably isn't a concessions table in the chamber, plan to grab coffee or a bite nearby before or after at downtown Northville spots.
- 4.Parking downtown can be tight, so give yourself extra time; the building is at 215 West Main Street and the meeting starts at 6 30 PM; have any required documents ready.
- 5.If you want to speak, check the sign up process in advance and prepare a short, respectful comment; follow the mic rules and keep interruptions to a minimum.
