City Council Meeting

About This Event

Regular meeting of the Northville City Council.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to grab a seat in the council chamber and read any posted agenda outside the building. The venue is the Northville Downtown Development, a local government office on West Main Street, so expect a formal seating arrangement.
• 2.If you want to speak during public comment, find out the sign up rules in advance and keep your remarks short and focused.
• 3.Bring a notebook or device to follow along with the agenda and take notes on votes you care about; minutes and packets are usually shared after the meeting.
• 4.Dress in business casual as this is a government setting with formal proceedings.
• 5.Parking on West Main Street can be limited, so give yourself extra time and consider nearby municipal lots or street parking; be prepared to show ID if staff request it.
