City Council Meeting

About This Event

Regular meeting of the South Lyon City Council.

What to Expect

• 1.Check the council agenda before you go so you know which topics matter to you; regular meetings can cover a mix of routine business and public issues.
• 2.Arrive a little early to find the meeting room and settle in. The address is on South Warren Street, but confirm the specific room and any entry instructions with the city beforehand.
• 3.Expect a formal, mostly seated meeting rather than a social event. You can attend and listen without introducing yourself or speaking.
• 4.If you want to address the council, look up the public-comment rules and time limits in advance; speaking is optional.
• 5.There is no food or drink information listed, so plan to eat beforehand rather than counting on refreshments at City Hall.
• 6.Solo first-timer activation score: 2. The seated meeting has a clear focus and speaking is optional, so attending alone should feel low-pressure.
