About This Event

This month we will be discussing The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive a bit early to settle into the library's discussion room; seating is limited and it tends to fill up, so bring a note or copy if you have one.
• 2.Expect a thoughtful, low-key crowd; conversations are guided by a facilitator and are usually respectful—it's fine to listen and contribute a brief thought.
• 3.Food and drink policies in library spaces vary; generally avoid eating in the meeting room, so plan to grab coffee nearby before or after.
• 4.Parking is usually free in the library lot; the event is held at Farmington Community Library in Farmington Hills; give yourself a few extra minutes to find the room.
• 5.If you're new to book clubs, this is casual—introduce yourself briefly, you can borrow the book from the library using your card, and you'll meet fellow readers.
