Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers

About This Event

Major League Baseball game between the Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive 60–90 minutes before first pitch to park, clear security, and grab a bite. Downtown Detroit can be chaotic right before game time, so give yourself time.
• 2.Check Comerica Park's bag policy before you go and bring a clear bag or a small purse; bulky bags will slow you down at the gates.
• 3.Try Detroit-area ballpark staples—coney dogs, loaded nachos, and local craft beer—at concessions beyond the main concourses; lines can be long after first pitch, so consider grabbing something early.
• 4.If you can, use rideshare or public transit to avoid downtown parking and plan to drop off and pick up near the stadium.
• 5.Bring a light jacket or hoodie; May evenings in Detroit can get chilly under the open sky.
