DIA Behind the Seen Lectures

About This Event

A lecture series presented by the Detroit Institute of Arts.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a focused, one-hour talk connected to the Detroit Institute of Arts. The title does not specify the lecture topic, so check the event listing closer to the date if you want to know what will be covered.
• 2.Arrive a little early to find the lecture room and choose a seat. Community centers may host several activities at once, so confirm you are in the right room.
• 3.Bring a notebook if you like to jot down artwork names, artists, or follow-up questions. A short lecture can move through details quickly.
• 4.Plan to stay through the end if there is a question period, but you can attend quietly without needing to introduce yourself or participate.
• 5.Food and drink details are not provided. Have coffee or a snack beforehand rather than counting on refreshments at the venue.
