Dick's House of Sport Grand Opening Celebration

About This Event

Grand opening celebration of Michigan's first Dick's House of Sport, featuring interactive sports experiences and athlete appearances.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a busy, all-day mall event with interactive sports experiences. Arriving earlier may mean shorter waits for activities and a better chance to catch athlete appearances.
• 2.Athlete appearances are mentioned, but no names or schedule are provided, so check the store or event updates before you go if you have someone specific in mind.
• 3.Wear comfortable shoes. You may be on your feet moving between activities, and the mall can involve plenty of walking.
• 4.Plan food and bathroom breaks around the mall rather than assuming the event itself provides them. At a 12-hour celebration, it is worth taking a break and coming back.
• 5.If you're bringing kids, agree on a meeting spot in advance; interactive activities and a packed grand opening can make it easy to lose track of each other.
