Disability Dirt Day

About This Event

A special event hosted by Oakland County Parks providing outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect an outdoor recreation event designed to make activities accessible to people with disabilities; check the organizer's event page for the specific activities and available accommodations.
• 2.This is a drop-in daytime event, so you can arrive and take breaks at your own pace during the 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. window.
• 3.Wear clothes and shoes you do not mind getting dirty, and bring weather-appropriate layers since activities are outdoors in October.
• 4.The venue is a county parks facility, not a typical office setting. Confirm the exact event area and parking instructions before leaving, as the listed address may be an administrative location.
• 5.If you need particular accessibility supports, transportation assistance, or help from a companion, contact Oakland County Parks ahead of time to confirm what will be available. Food and drink details are not provided, so bring water and check whether refreshments are offered.
