Disney's The Lion King

About This Event

The six-time Tony Award-winning musical features stunningly immersive set pieces, award-winning choreography, and some of Broadway's most beloved music.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive early to park and find your seats; downtown Detroit traffic can be unpredictable, especially before showtime.
• 2.The Lion King is a two-act musical with a mid-show intermission—budget about 2.5–3 hours total and use intermission to stretch or use the restrooms.
• 3.The production is visually stunning with elaborate costumes and puppetry; most seats offer great sightlines, but sitting closer helps catch facial expressions in key moments.
• 4.Dress comfortably but a notch nicer works for the venue; theatres in this building can feel chilly, so bring a light layer.
• 5.Avoid using flash or recording devices during the show; save photos for before or after the performance.
