Disney's The Lion King

About This Event

The six-time Tony Award-winning musical features stunningly immersive set pieces, award-winning choreography, and some of Broadway's most beloved music.

What to Expect

• 1.The Lion King uses jaw-dropping puppetry and vibrant production; watch the stage—puppets and masks carry most of the storytelling.
• 2.For the best view of the puppetry and facial expressions, aim for center orchestra or front mezz seating; if you're far to the sides, you might miss details.
• 3.There’s an intermission—use it to stretch your legs, grab a drink, and check the program notes.
• 4.Dress code is generally smart-casual; comfortable shoes help since you’ll be moving around a historic theatre.
• 5.Plan your arrival for downtown Detroit parking; there are several garages nearby, and the venue gets busy before shows—arriving early saves you stress.
