Disney's The Lion King

About This Event

The landmark musical event, Disney's The Lion King, continues its run at the Detroit Opera House.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive early to park and find your seat; Detroit Opera House is a big venue, so give yourself extra time for entry.
• 2.You're in for a visually rich, Broadway‑style production with elaborate costumes and puppetry; expect the show to run around 2.5–3 hours including a brief intermission.
• 3.The show is family‑friendly, but be prepared for some loud moments and bright, fast‑moving sequences that can be sensory‑intense for younger kids.
• 4.Dress smart‑casual to comfortable, and wear good shoes since you’ll be sitting for long stretches and moving through a large lobby and stairs.
• 5.If you need accessibility options, such as seating accommodations or an assisted listening device, contact the box office in advance to arrange it.
