Disney's The Lion King

About This Event

The Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of Disney's classic film continues its run at the Detroit Opera House, featuring iconic music by Elton John and Tim Rice.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan on about 2.5 hours total, including a short intermission.
• 2.Arrive early to park and find your seats; the Detroit Opera House is ornate and seating is assigned, so give yourself extra time.
• 3.Dress smart-casual to comfortable; the venue is elegant but you’ll be moving around a bit and should wear comfy shoes.
• 4.The sound and visuals are immersive and can be loud; consider ear protection if you’re sensitive to volume and pick seats away from the loudest speakers if possible.
• 5.No photos or videos during the performance; you’ll want to soak in the show and save memories for intermission or after the curtain.
