Disney's The Lion King
About this event
The six-time Tony Award-winning musical features stunningly immersive set pieces and award-winning choreography.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to park and find the entrance; Detroit Opera House can be busy before showtime, so give yourself extra time for security and seating.
- 2.Center orchestra or front mezzanine seats give the best views of the dynamic staging and choreography; if you’re seated farther back, pick a center section for the best sightlines.
- 3.Intermission typically runs around 15-20 minutes—use it to stretch, visit a concession, and reset for the second act; the lobby can get crowded around intermission, so plan accordingly.
- 4.Concessions and drinks are available, but plan ahead if you want specific snacks; keep in mind any bag policies and limit outside food unless allowed.
- 5.No flash photography or recording during the performance; silence devices and enjoy the music and dance; be mindful of the performers and other audience members.
